Zeno Franklin Wise, Jr.

Buddy passed away on Fri. Feb. 12, 2021 with his family by his side. He was 87 yrs young. 

Buddy was born to Alice Flippin and Zeno F. Wise, Sr. On Oct 24, 1933. 

Buddy was preceded in death by his son, Ronny Wise; parents, Zeno and Alice; 1brother, Johnny Wise; 3 sisters, Frankie Thompson, Paula Leddy and Linda Couturier. He is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Carolyn and husband Ronny Bryan; 2 brothers, Eddie and Neva Wise; Danny and Cindy Wise. 13 grandkids and 19 great grandkids. 

After high school, Buddy started working at 7up Bottling Co, then in 1951, he joined the US Marines for 6 yrs.  3 were active and 3 were inactive. While actively serving, he was in the Korean War. When he returned home from active duty, he married Mary Boyd on Jan 19, 1954. They were happily married for 67 yrs. In Oct 1954, he went to work for the City of Abilene, Engineering Dept until retiring in Dec 1996.

Pallbearers are grandsons; Robert, Wesley, Jordan and Buddy Bryan, Scott Mansker and 1 great grandson, Tyler Mansker.

Officiating will be Rev David Cason and Ronny Bryan and others.

Visitation will be at Hamil Family Funeral Home on Mon Feb 22, 2021 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. 

Funeral service will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday Feb 23, 2021 at Hamil Family Funeral Home at 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. Abilene, Texas
