Zana Ann (Hamm) Slaughter, 87, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2021. She was born April 22, 1934, in Knox City to John Olvis and Virginia Hamm.
Time for visiting with the family will be Friday, June 18 from 1 pm until 2 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, with funeral services following at 2 pm. Burial will follow at 5 pm in the Knox City Cemetery.
Zana worked as a travel agent for International Tours. She attended St. Paul United Methodist Church, and she loved gardening and playing bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Virginia Hamm, and her husband David Paul Slaughter.
Zana is survived by her son John Slaughter, and daughter Elise Grant and husband James.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
