Victoria Elaine Murphy, 66, of Tye Texas, went home to be with Jesus and her precious son Jason on January 20, 2021. The celebration of her life will be at 10 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Ridgemont Baptist Church in Abilene Texas with brother Jeff Addison of Ridgemont Baptist Church officiating, with burial following at Tye cemetery.

Vicky was born in Los Angeles, California to Joseph Henry and Wanda Ruth Musacchia on February 18, 1954. She married James William Murphy on January 17, 1969. She loved singing and playing the piano alongside her husband of 51 years in ministry.

She developed Bible Art which was copyrighted in 1989 and taught it all around the world. It has impacted so many lives as she desired for people to draw on God’s word as they drew from God’s word.

She had a passion for sign language and love to teach others this unique way to express praise and worship and communicate with the deaf community.

She loved to paint and create artwork for family and friends, and even for a doctor, a restaurant owner, and those who lost loved ones. She loved her art studio family at Studio 13 in Abilene and enjoyed her many friendships with her fellow artists.

She adored her baby girl daughter, her grandkids, and great grandkids. She was always ready to show off pictures and take pictures at a moment’s notice.

She completely loved her adoring husband who has always been a tower of strength in her life.

Most of all she loved Jesus and wanted all those around her to love Him too.
