Troyce Douglas Bagley was born in Abilene TX to Douglas Bagley and Bettye Bagley on April 3rd, 1984. He was a graduate of Merkel High School, then continued his education in Lubbock, where he graduated from Texas Tech University.
Troyce was a co-owner of Bagley Farms in Merkel, with his father and brother, where he spent many long hours working, planting, or harvesting. Troyce met the love of his life, Lauren Schoonover, in Abilene, where they were later married in May of 2017. In February of 2019 they were blessed with twin boys. Troyce was a hard worker, but in any spare time, he could be found with his wife, and twin boys working around their property together, or enjoying time at the lake house. Troyce always enjoyed getting to take the boys for a ride on the gator or farm equipment.
He was a loving father, husband, son and friend, with a one-of-a-kind personality. He will always have a special place in our hearts, and we will miss him tremendously.
Troyce was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Horace M.D. Bagley, Elouise Bagley Burson, Mary Buford Shahan, Thomas Allan Shahan, and Aunt & Uncle Gayle and Dennis Gollihar.
Troyce is survived by his wife Lauren Bagley, sons Ridge & Ryker Bagley, Father and Stepmom Douglas & Debra Bagley, Mother Bettye Bagley & Jim Encke, Brother Heath Bagley, Stepsister Tiffany Fry and Family, Stepbrother Brandt Carter & Family, Aunt and Uncle Bill & Christine Shahan, In-laws Jim, Holly, Art, & Audrey Schoonover and Nieces Sadie & Ellie Schoonover, and Maddie Fry, along with many cousins and extended family members.
