Thomas Leland Revoir

Thomas Leland Revoir, 76, of Abilene, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 7, 1945 in Appleton, WI to Paul Henry and Lauretta Revoir.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Tuesday, September 27 at Broadview Baptist Church, with Bro. David Cason officiating. Committal service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Thomas married Edith Braddock in November 1968 in Abilene. He served in the United States Air Force, and retired as a MSG. He was a Vietnam veteran and a patriot. Tom was loyal to those he loved, and his country. He never met a stranger. His sons consider him the perfect dad. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and working on computers – he was very knowledgeable about technology. After his retirement from the military, he worked security at Abilene Regional Hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Tom is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Edith Revoir; his sons, Chris Revoir (Dawn) and Matthew Revoir (Sherry); brother, Michael Revoir; four grandchildren, Brooke Cox, Joseph Revoir, Sydney Revoir, and Mason Revoir, as well as 3 great-grandchildren, Baylor, Bryton, and Beckham.
