Shirley Pylant

Shirley Clark Pylant, 86, of Abilene, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023 in Abilene.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 24 at Elmwood Memorial Park, with Dennis Burt officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Shirley was born in Abilene to Howard and Evalina Clark on March 10, 1936. She went to school at and graduated from Abilene High School in 1953. She was the manager of several credit unions across the state of Texas and Colorado.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Pylant, and her grandchildren, Tonya Webb, Joshua Pylant, and David Pylant, as well as six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers Raymand and Marvin Clark, her three sisters Pauline Maul, Joyce Dane, and June Burt.
