Shelia M. Pinkston

Shelia Pinkston, 51, of View, passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2021 in Dallas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Funeral service wil be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2021 at View Baptist Church in View with                Bro. Chris Fobb officiating. Burial will follow at Drummond Cemetery.

Shelia was born to Wayne Tomlinson and Liz (Tucker) Tomlinson in Lubbock, Texas on April 22, 1969. She moved to Abilene in 2006 where she worked for Taylor county as a warrant officer. She enjoyed working and did so until she was no longer able. Shelia never met a stranger anywhere she went and had a spit fire attitude despite the cards she was delt. She enjoyed farming, gardening, and anything that involved her boys! 

Shelia was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Tomlinson; step-mother, JoAnn Tomlinson; step-father, Robert Campbell; sister, Sharon Moore and brother, Ronnie Tomlinson.

Shelia is survived by her husband, Troy Pinkston; sons, Todd Collier and wife Kylie and Toby Collier; sister, Debbie Sumner and husband Keith; brother, Gary Tomlinson and wife Carrie; mother, Elizabeth Tomlinson Campbell; step-daughters, Ashley Tindol and husband Jay and Emily Olvera and husband Marco; eight grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
