Sharon Darlene Hagar

Sharon Darlene Hagar, 75, of Abilene, Texas passed away on July 13, 2023, at her daughter’s home with family by her side.

A graveside service will be held 9:00 am Sunday July 16, at Dewey Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Kerry Jones of Buffalo Gap Church of Christ. Services are under the direction of the Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Sharon was born in Alice, Texas to Selma and Robert (Shorty) Howard on October 31, 1947. She went to school at Alice Coyote School District, where she graduated in 1965. She found her way to Abilene, Texas to attend business school. She married Wayne Hunt and had one son Bryan Hunt. She later in life married Billy Hagar. She took a job at the master’s until their closing. She worked at Conn’s for a short while until her retirement in 1996. After retiring she worked for the floral department at Albertson’s. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew Corey Ramsower and her twin grandbabies Michael and Daron Hunt.

Sharon is survived by her husband Billy Hagar, her son Bryan and wife Tracie Hunt, her daughter Tammy Pace and partner Kenny Thomas, her daughter Tonya and husband Josh Parks, and daughter Teresa and husband Kyle Hutchins, her sister Faye and husband Curtis Hall. She has ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren as well as one great grandchild on the way, one niece and her children.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association. The family of Sharon Hagar wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hendrick’s medical staff, and Kinder Heart’s Hospice.
