Sharla Lynae Hargrove

Sharla, age 60, of Abilene, passed away on 9/11/2022 in Abilene.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 25, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday, September 26, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 12:00 noon at Elliott-Hamil Garden of Memories with Jamie Gentry of Trinity Baptist, officiating.

Sharla was born in Abilene, Texas to Lee Roy and Annette Hargrove on July 7, 1962. She went to school in Abilene. She graduated from Abilene High. She was a wonderful woman who would help anyone out in need even if she did not have much herself. Everyone that she encountered was always welcomed with open arms and a hug. She radiated love and everyone around her knew and could feel it. She was a loving grandmother to all her grandchildren and always wanted to be involved with their lives.

Sharla was preceded in death by Lee Roy Hargrove.

Sharla is survived by Chris and Leah Kalmar, Sheena Kalmar, Kassie and Corey Bomberger, and Tyler Rinker, her children; Gary Hargrove, her brother; Annette Hargrove, her mother, and her 12 grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Corey Bomberger, Xander Sasin, Ethan Kalmar, Craig Beyer, Michael Callan, and Zach Rinker.
