Sandra Jean Huff

Sandra Jean Huff, 73, of Abilene, passed away on September 3rd in Abilene. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 10th at 10:00 at Hamby Cemetery with Chris McCurley officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd. Sandie was born in Stamford, Tx to Leon and Geraldine Hargrove on August 4, 1948. She graduated from Stamford High School in 1966 and went on to receive her Licensed Vocational Nurse Certificate. She married Bob Huff on October 17, 1970. She worked as a nurse for many years at Pediatric Associates as Dr. Faehnle's nurse and then was the school nurse at Wylie Elementary until retirement. She was a devoted Christian as well as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She especially loved her grandkids! Sandie was preceded in death by her father, mother and husband. Sandie is survived by daughter Leslie Autrey and husband Corey of Weatherford, daughter Melanie Martin and husband Reese of Abilene. Grandchildren Daylon Moore, Dillon Moore and Lane Autrey.
