Ron Marlin McGraw, 65, of Abilene, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at his home. He was born on December 12, 1956 in Wichita, KS to Ronnie and Kathleen (Briggs) McGraw.
Ron graduated from Brownwood High School in 1975, and later attended Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater and McMurry University in Abilene. He worked as an electrician for Chaparral Steel in Midlothian and Superior-Essex in Brownwood. He later worked for Marvin Windows and retired in 2020. Ron enjoyed hunting in Brownwood and fishing on the Brazos River. When he wasn’t hunting, fishing, or working, he enjoyed watching horror movies, listening to Hard Rock music, and drawing.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Briggs McGraw; son, Ian McGraw; brother, Scott McGraw; and grandson, Christopher Martinez.
He is survived by his father, Ronnie McGraw; son, Sean McGraw; daughters, Caitlin Baker and husband Byron, and Brittney Cluchie and husband Craig; brothers, Eric McGraw and Jacob McGraw; and grandchildren, Aria Baker, Jimmy Hanes, and Gabriel and Oscar Martinez.
