Ricky Jannise

Ricky Jannise, 65, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday May 22, 2025, in Abilene, Texas.

Memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM on Monday June 9, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church at 5410 Buffalo Gap Rd. in Abilene Texas with the Rev. MSGR Frederick G. Nawarskas officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Ricky Jannise was born in Abilene, Texas to Homer and Arvella Jannise on May 23, 1959. He graduated from Wylie High School and McMurry University. He was involved in the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Abilene.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents; Homer and Arvella Jannise.

Ricky is survived by brother Michael Jannise, sister-in-law, Norma Jannise, niece, Alyssa Jannise, and nephew, Cameron Jannise all  of McKinney, Texas..
