Patricia Marie Milligan

Patricia Marie Milligan, of Abilene, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Patricia was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Gloria and Robert Baca, on August 8, 1966. She graduated from Valley High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1984. She worked as a nuclear weapons specialist for DOE and Pantex, then moved back to Albuquerque to work for Sandia National Laboratories for thirty (30) years. Patricia worked her way up from a technologist to a Nuclear Weapons Quality Engineer. She loved her Lord and was kind and considerate to all.

Patricia is survived by her spouse, Patrick Barth Milligan; her daughter, Shayla Steffensen (Daniel) and grandchildren, Michael Beau and Autumn Marie; step-son, Matthew Milligan; step-daughter, Meriel Milligan Hoxworth (Ian); sisters, Cindy Perner (John) and Malen San Nicolas (Joe); mother, Gloria Baca, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
