Nicholas D. White, 69, of Abilene, Texas passed away on September 4, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at Hamil Family Funeral Home on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm under their direction.

Nick was born in London, England to Kenneth & Barbara White on December 2, 1954. He graduated from Meadow High School in 1972 and Texas Tech University in 1980 cum laude with a BSME. He married Linda Foster on December 31, 1972. He was a Navy Machinist Mate on the USS Midway in the Vietnam Era. He established ND White Engineering and operated it with excellence for 35 years. Nick was involved with many ministries and organizations over the years with special involvement in NEBB, Texas Society of Professional Engineers, and Love and Care Ministries. He was a longtime Sunday school teacher. Nick was a devoted son, husband, father and employer who modeled loving others, integrity and the value of hard work.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth & Barbara White and sister, Becky Boydstun.

He is survived by his wife, Linda White; his 4 children, Charity Leeson, Katie & Chad Drake, John White, Chris & Brittany White; and 7 grandchildren, Grace, Jack, Sam, Charlie, Ben, Michael, and Ivy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Beltway Park Church Missions Fund.
