92 year old, NANNIE LEA LANGLEY of Abilene, passed away Wednesday, March 25,2026 at her home in Abilene.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Nannie Lea's life will be held Saturday, April 11th from 1 to 3 pm at Hamil Family Funeral Home. (6449 Buffalo Gap Road). Private internment will be at the Imperial Memorial Gardens in Pueblo, Colorado.

Nannie Lea was born in Strong City, Oklahoma to Vernie and Roy Burns on February 10,1934, the youngest of three girls. The family moved to Portales, New Mexico prior to her starting elementary school. She graduated from Portales High School before moving with her parents to Pueblo Colorado. There she met the love of her life, Floyd Bertran Langley. They were married in Pueblo, September 25,1953. Their only child, a son, Sterling, was born February 1, 1957. While, she considered herself a housewife, Nannie Lea actively participated in the operation of their Dry Cleaning business and was very involved with extended family, friends and her church.

Nannie Lea was preceded in death by her husband, Bertran, son, Sterling, grandson, Ben, brother, Darrell and sisters Roverta and Tressie.

Nannie Lea is survived by many loved and loving nieces, nephews and friends. She had a loving, giving soul and knowing Nannie Lea was one of the greatest blessings life has to offer. Her physical presence will be missed but our love and memories of her will never fade.
