Mary Wise

Mary Boyd Wise, 86, of Abilene, TX, passed away on December 9, 2023, in Hospice Care.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 6-8pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, December 14 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home with Robert Bryan officiating.  The burial will follow at the Buffalo Gap Cemetery. 

Mary was born in Breckenridge, TX to Floyd Sr & Jenny Boyd on May 28, 1937.  She married the love of her life, Zeno “Buddy” Wise Jr on January 19, 1954, in Abilene, TX where they lived most of their married life and had their two children, Carolyn & Ronnie.  Mary loved to be in the kitchen and fishing in her free time.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd Sr & Jenny Boyd, her husband: Buddy Wise, her son: Ronnie Wise, 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Mary is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Bryan (Ronny) of Abilene, TX, her grandchildren: Robert Bryan (Becka) of Mustang, OK, Teresa Mansker (Scott) of Abilene, TX, Wesley Bryan (Aron) of Abilene, TX, Jordan Bryan (Celest) of Clyde, TX, Buddy Bryan (Stephanie) of Abilene, TX, Davis Wise of Brownfield, TX and Justin Wise of Junction, TX, 21 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters, many nieces & nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Bryan, Wesley Bryan, Jordan Bryan, Buddy Bryan, Scott Mansker & Tyler Mansker.
