Mary Evelyn Patricia Temple Loss was born on December 24, 1928, in Seminary, Mississippi. Her parents were Richard Avery Temple, Sr. and Ruth Mooney. She was the oldest of 17 children. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great grandmother.

Mary is survived by her sons Raymond Richard Loss, Jr. and Shawn Dewayne Loss, and grandson Richard Evans and wife Kelly Evans. She has numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She held many jobs including being a school bus driver for 20 years. She is famously known for playing the spoons. She made a huge impact everywhere she went.
