Marian Eileen Teague, 81, went to be with her loving savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, February 15, 2022. She was born in Abilene, Texas on November 16, 1940. She has been a lifelong resident of Abilene. She felt this was her home and she wished to be nowhere else.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February 18 at Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 US Hwy 277 South. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.
Marian attended Abilene High School and graduated in 1958. She met the love of her life in John A. Teague. He was the anchor in her life and was her love of nearly 60 years. Very seldom was there one without the other. She took care of him and the household as if those were the only things she knew. It was truly her passion to make sure all things were running properly, as they should at her home. She took great pride in making sure the home was a stable and an inviting place to be at anytime.
Marian’s love in life revolved around her family. She was always there to attend school events, ballgames, and any activities her children or grandchildren were involved in.
She had two children (and their spouses) who survive her, Chris Teague (Shelly) of Lubbock and Noelle Lindberg (Darrell) of Abilene. She has five grandchildren: Austin Teague (Nika), Zachary Lindberg, Treg Teague, Sidney Teague, and Madison Thomson (Justin). She also has one great-grandchild, Raelynn Thomson.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and her husband John Teague.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
