Linda Mae Dewbre

Linda Mae Dewbre, age 72, of Clyde, Texas peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday August 16, 2021.

Visitation will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday August 22, 2021, with funeral services to follow at 4:00 pm with Erica & Scott Gray officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, located at 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas.

Linda was born November 1, 1948, in Roscoe, Texas to Richard and Ruth Freeman. She graduated from McCallum High School in Austin, Texas. She married Randy Dewbre on November 2, 1973, in Austin Texas. Linda was a talented painter, florist, seamstress and all-around crafter. Throughout the years, Linda was involved in many community activities and organizations while raising her daughters in Odessa, Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother with a calling to mother many others the Lord brought to her along the years. Linda and Randy served the Lord together when called to many places either as house parents at the Navajo Mission in Farmington, NM or run a Christian School in Taylor, Texas with other places in between as Pastors and Youth Pastors. Her heart was for those that needed a mother and for those in need of direction and love.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Richard Neal Freeman, her nephew Edward "Bubbie" Vandercook Jr., both of her paternal grandparents Dollie Robinson Freeman Jesse Freeman and maternal grandparents Ruby Mae Stone Jenkins and T.F. Jenkins

Linda is loved and remembered by her husband, Randy Dewbre; daughters, Michele Kilborn and husband Casey Kilborn, Christine Dewbre and husband Jason Combs and Emily Dewbre; her mother Ruth Freeman, and sister Debra Freeman Kittlesen and her husband John Kittlesen.

Grandchildren: Jeremiah Matthew Dewbre and wife Krista, Amanda Lynn Kile, Joshua Don Kile, Taylor George and husband Ben, Allyssa Renee Holley, Kyle Young, Samantha Timms and husband Xavier, Brandal Lane, Molly Mae Gibson, Shiean Snow and husband Khaig.

Great Grandchildren: Lyssa Yoes, Lilian Wier, DeeDee Wier, Kerah Wier, Trendon Dewbre, Easton George, Sebastion Kile, Sunni Kile, Luna Mae Snow, Jasper Timms, Atlas Timms, Kimber Timms

Her extra children are many! Some are close and some far away but never far from her heart: Micheal Dixon, Leslie Burleson, Rodena Willie, Cyndi Willie, Sandy Wolf, Judy Todechini, Robert Potter.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jeremiah Dewbre, Joshua Kile, Brandal Lane and Kyle Young.
