Leslie Leann Smith

Leslie LeAnn Smith, 34, of Abilene,Tx left us too soon on March 13, 2026. She was born January 14, 1992, in Abilene, to Scott and Chayla Henderson. Leslie was known for her passion for her family, softball and children.

Leslie attended Wylie ISD from kindergarten through her graduation in 2010. While there she had many friends, played softball, and loved going to Bulldog football games. After graduating she continued her love of softball at Hardin Simmons University, where she received her Bachelor Degree in Education. She was a teacher in Abilene ISD for several years. Leslie married Travis Smith of Eula in October 2016.

Leslie was preceded in death by grandparents Curtis and Helen Henderson, great-grandparents Tex and Rene Cloud.

Leslie is survived by parents Scott and Chayla Henderson of Abilene, brother Christopher and wife Danielle Henderson of Krum,Tx, grandparents Freddie and Linda Fox of Abilene, spouse Travis Smith, aunts & uncles Terrell and Tracy Parker of Eastland, Terri Jordan of Winters, Greg Henderson of Minnesota, Shelly Goodson of Oklahoma, nephew Jayden Henderson of Krum and many cousins Kyle Parker, Tara Herndon, Travis and Jessie Jordan, Mason, Maddie, Meagan, Emily and Chris Anderson, Ashley, Mary, Jason and Gage Henderson

Celebration of Leslie will be Wednesday March 18 at 1:00.

Hamil Family Funeral Home 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd Abilene Tx.

Visitation Tuesday March 17 from 5:00-7:00 at Hamil Family Funeral Home.

The family will have a private graveside service.
