Larry Felty

Larry Wayne Felty, age 78, of Abilene, passed away on June 22, 2025, in Abilene Texas.

 Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday July 12th at The Hamil Family Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Reid of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, officiating.

 Larry was born in Wichita Falls to Alfred & Mary Felty on February 20th 1947. He went to school in Abilene. He graduated from Abilene High School. He married Janis Kay Osterhoudt on April 19, 1976, in Abilene Texas. He worked as a mechanic or computer technician for Welex, Southside Auto, Abtex Beverage and Hendrick Medical Center. He served the United States Navy and was Honorably Discharged in 1969. He was involved with the Boy Scouts of America and Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.

 Larry was preceded in death by his parents Alfred & Mary Felty and sister-in-law Jean Felty. 

 Larry is survived by his spouse Janis, his sons David Osterhoudt, Jonathan Felty, Ken Osterhoudt and daughter-in-law Dawn Osterhoudt, Terilyn Felty, his grandchildren Mo, Brayden, Dylan, Zachary and Jackson. His great grandchild Ellie. His brother David Felty and his nephews Scott and Todd Felty.
