John Johnson

John Lavert Johnson, Jr., 62, of Abilene, passed away December 31, 2022, in Abilene.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd., Abilene, with Rev. Jeff Hatcher and Billy Crim officiating.
John was born in Atlanta, Georgia on January 15, 1960, to John Lavert Johnson, Sr. and Enis Claire (Adams) Johnson. He graduated High School and also McMurry University with his bachelor's degree.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Claire Johnson.
He is survived by his father, Dr. John L. Johnson, Sr., of Abilene; daughter Jordan Johnson also of Abilene; brother, Steven Johnson.
