James Willis Little

James W. "Jim" Little, 66, of Abilene, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Funeral services, with Rev. Stan Allcorn officiating, will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, prior to service time. Mr. Little will be cremated. Jim was born June 29, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas to Willis D. Little and Alice Wanda (Rogers). He moved to Abilene from Arkansas in 1945. Jim married Jo Ann Webb in Colorado City, Texas on August 25, 1962. He enjoyed drag racing and was a member of the "Eliminators" drag racing team in the 1970's. Jim was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jim is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Little; two sons, James David Little and Danny Wayne Little and wife Trudy, all of Abilene.
