James Michael Herald, Jr.

James Michael “Mick” Herald, Jr., 63, of Arlington, Texas passed from this life in  February 2021 at his home in Arlington.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2021 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Elmwood Memorial Park with Dr. Cliff Stewart, officiating.  Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Mick was born on July 20, 1957 in Aurora, Colorado to Donna Jean (Stokes) and James Michael Herald, Sr. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1975. He served in the US Air Force.

Mick was a retired truck driver. He loved archery and flying remote control airplanes. Mick was an avid pool player. He has been a resident of Arlington for approximately 30 years.

Mick was preceded in death by his father, James Michael Herald, Sr. on December 28, 2018.

Mick is survived by his mother, Jean Herald of Abilene; one sister, Katherine Ann Proctor of Napa, California; one brother, Scott Herald and wife Sheree of Belton, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
