Helen Faye Reed

Helen Faye Reed "Mama Reed", 94, went peacefully to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Lawn Baptist Church, Lawn, Texas, with Rev. Price Mathieson officiating. Interment will follow in McBee Cemetery directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road in Abilene. Visitation will be Friday, December 2, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. Reed; son, William G. "Bill" Reed; and sister, Norma Jean Landers. Helen is survived by grandsons, Clay Reed and wife, Melanie, of Runnels County, Texas, Ward Reed of Athens, Texas, and Shane Reed and wife, Kerri, of Arlington, Texas, and great-grandchildren, Callie Reed and Courtney Reed of Abilene, and Caleb Reed of Arlington.
