Gwen Ann Kaiser

August 3, 1951 — September 14, 2023

Gwen Ann Kaiser, 72, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Abilene, TX.

A private graveside service will be held in Fredericksburg.

Gwen was a compassionate and loving wife and mother.  Her early years were spent in Fredericksburg where she was born to Clinton Grona and Erline (Nebgen), on August 3, 1951.  She graduated from Fredericksburg High School and went on to attend (then) Southwest Texas State University.  She married Greg Paul Kaiser of Fredericksburg on July 28, 1973, in the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fredericksburg.  She and Greg made their way to  Abilene in 1978.  By 1982, they had established their business, Pensions Unlimited, Inc., which they successfully ran for 28 years before selling in 2010.  Gwen spent her time volunteering with various organizations within her community. Whenever she had a spare moment, Gwen could be found at peace in nature–where she felt free, surrounded by a beautiful landscape.

Gwen was a proud member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Stanley Grona and her loving husband, Greg Kaiser.

Gwen is survived by her two children, Andrea Bradshaw and husband D.J. of Abilene; Fathom Kimes and wife Amanda of Fate, Texas and three grandchildren, Valiant Kimes, Justice Kimes, and Jaxon Bradshaw.

Gwen was a bright light that will remain in the hearts of those that loved her.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in her memory to All Kind Animal Initiative, 834 North 3rd St., Abilene, TX 79601
