Grace Buchanan Keith passed away on August 17, 2022 in Abilene, Texas. 

Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 pm on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday August 19, 2022 at Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery, with Jacob Rogers, grandson officiating.  Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. 

Grace was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas to W.H. and Clemmie Buchanan on November 24, 1927.  She attended school in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School.   She graduated from Draughons Business School and worked as a statistical typist for several years.  She married Loyd Keith on September 27, 1952 in Abilene.  She typed for architects in her home for many years then worked in the Motor Vehicle Department of Taylor County from where she retired.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church for over 50 years and she and Loyd especially enjoyed serving during the Wednesday night meals.

Grace was preceded in death by husband Loyd Keith, her twin sister Gladys Buchanan, and her parents.  She is survived by her daughter Karen Rogers and husband Jimmy, her son David Keith, her grandchildren Sarah Holladay and husband Brian, Jacob Rogers and wife Kristen and great-grandchildren Hudson James Holladay, Adalee Kay Rogers, Graham Joel Holladay, and one sister Jean Wood. 

Memorials may be given to Interim Hospice.  The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Jeffrey Edwards and Interim Hospice.
