Geraldine Patterson

Geraldene “Gerry” Patterson, 89, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021, in Abilene. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021 at Elmwood Memorial Park, Garden of the Good Shepherd with Pastor Stephen Elliott officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Gerry was born in Rotan, Texas to Roy Sanders Nash and Lelia Frances (O’Briant) Nash on October 3, 1931. She graduated from high school in Rotan. She married Edgar Lee Patterson on June 18, 1949 in Rotan. He preceded her in death in 1999. Gerry was a Production Inspector for 21 years at Timex. She was a member of Elmcrest Baptist Church in Abilene. Gerry was preceded in death by her parents, husband and her brother Roy Calvin Nash. Gerry is survived by a niece, Frances Yates; nephew, James Roy Nash; cousin, Neva McQueen.
