Dorothy Sellers

Dorothy (Dot) Mae Pannell Sellers passed away on June 11, 2024, at Northern Oaks Nursing Home, Abilene Texas after a extended illness.

She was born Feb 21, 1927 in Huntington West Virginia. She was preceded in death to her parents Henry J Pannell and Dona Diana (Hall) Pannell; her brothers, Walter James and James Arthur Pannell and sister Francis; her husband Rex Fable Sellers; her beloved pets of many years, Rascal and Crocodile Dundee.

She is survived by her son Daniel L. Sellers and daughter-in-law Vella Sellers, of Spencer Tennessee; grandchildren, Christina, David, Jason and Tony Sellers of Lawton, Oklahoma and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was an Air Force Veteran, a loving mother and friend. An avid chess player who loved to travel all over the world, and especially Alaska, her second home. She loved her home in Abilene of 36 years and especially her neighbors who all pitched in until the end to assist her., Rhonda, Sue, Terry, Randy, Julie, Carlee, Lacy and Claire.

Graveside services with military honors will be 1:00pm Friday June 21, 2024 at The Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, 7457 W Lake Rd, Abilene, TX 7960.
