Donald "Don" Eugene Leiter

Donald Eugene Leiter, Jr., 63, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Abilene.

A memorial service will be held, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 4515 S 14th St, Abilene. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Don was born in Bedford, Pennsylvania to Donald Leiter and Crystal (Berkey) Leiter on April 17, 1959. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after 27 years.

Don is survived by his father, Donald Leiter, Sr. of Dover Delaware; son, Rob Leiter of Abilene; daughter, Crystal Marie Leiter of Lawton, Oklahoma; brothers, Dave Leiter and wife Toni of Delaware and Dan Leiter and wife Kathy of Alabama; grandchildren, Dante Thayer, Jade Thayer, Lilly Costello, Kristalyn Costello, Miah Costello, and Elsa Cooper; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be made in Don’s honor to Hendrick Hospice.
