Dalton Davis Highnote, 38, Passed away peacefully in his sleep on 11-9-2022 in San Angelo, TX.

Dalton was born on December 16, 1983 to David & Mary Highnote. He graduated from Cooper high school. He showed a love for cars from a very early age. His parents say he grew up under a car always helping his daddy and grew up to be a certified mechanic. He had a love for any old car, but especially a passion for Chevy Cameros. He always had to brag that he owned 13 or 14 of them and his ’89 Chevy pickup. In his free time, he loved watching wrestling, YouTube and his Houston Texans. He loved sitting down and having long conversions with his mother and father whom he loved fiercely. He never met a stranger he couldn’t talk to and loved talking to anyone that would listen.

Dalton is survived by his parents, David & Mary Highnote of Abilene, TX. Sister Donna Gizzard of San Angelo, TX. Brother David Daron Highnote & companion Anne Marie Cowen of Dallas, TX. Niece Johannah Hooper of Abilene, TX. His nephew & best friend Zach Hooper & wife Kandice Hooper of Winters, TX. 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew. The light of his life, daughter Angelita Valdez of Sydney, NE.

He was preceded in death by his sister Darla Denise Highnote. His paternal and maternal grandparents.

On September 16, 2016 Dalton met the love of his life, Kayla Hasty. They knew from the beginning that they were destined to be together. Dalton proposed to Kayla on January 2nd, 2022, they were planning to be married in the summer or fall of 2023.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2-4pm at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd, Abilene, TX 79606. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 10am in the chapel at The Hamil Family Funeral Home.
