Cody Alan Solomon

Cody Solomon, 31, of Abilene, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his home in Abilene. A celebration of Cody's life will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 1430 Tanglewood Rd. in Abilene. Cody was born on March 28, 1988 in Abilene. He was raised in Hawley, Texas and graduated from Hawley High School in 2006. He attended McMurry University and later graduated from TSTC with a diesel mechanic certification. On December 23, 2017, Cody and Molly McCleary were married in Abilene. He was known as the most laid-back person you would ever meet. He loved everyone he met and didn't possess a mean bone in his body. Cody enjoyed camping, fishing, and tubing on a hot summer day. He was an avid video gamer. He was known as one of the top gamers in the nation. Cody was a faithful member of Broadview Baptist Church. You could always find Cody by looking on the back row of the church. Cody is survived by a host of family and friends.
