Brent Joseph Bruneau

Brent Joseph Bruneau, 58, of Abilene Texas, passed away on December 9, 2019 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 pm, Sunday December 15, 2019 at The Hamil Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Rd.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday December 16, 2019 at Wylie Baptist Church, 6097 Buffalo Gap Rd.

Brent was born in Murfreesboro, TN to John Joseph Bruneau and Annette Louise Bruneau on July 26, 1961. He married Jinger Bruneau on April 4, 1998 in Burleson, TX. He had a son Benjamin Bruneau, age 21, and a daughter Breanna Bruneau, age 18. He worked as the Transmission Substation Station Manager, Texas North for American Electric Power (AEP) and has been with the company for 32 years. He was a member of Wylie Baptist Church. He enjoyed volunteering at Feast of Sharing and other community outreach programs and meeting with his various men's groups for breakfast and lunch.

Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Annette Bruneau.

Brent is survived by his wife, Jinger; children, Ben and Breanna Bruneau; sisters, Gina Nichols and Bonnie Irwin; father, John Bruneau; in-laws, James Sr. and Geri Davis, Tabi Blackwood and James Davis Jr.

Pallbearers from his AEP family include: Robert McCray, Chris Jones, Steve Wallace, Brent Perry, Frank Mixon and Randy Moore.

The Bruneau family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our circle of friends and family from Abilene, San Angelo, Ohio and Louisiana. Your love, support, and prayers have warmed our hearts. Special thanks to Wylie Baptist Church in Abilene, College Hills Baptist Church in San Angelo and the employees of AEP for making this time easier. We love you ALL!!
