Brandon John Singer

Brandon Singer, 29, of Abilene died Friday, September 9, 2005 at his home. Services will be 2 pm Tuesday, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road. The Rev. Iziar Lankford, pastor of Plum Street United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by The Hamil Family Funeral Home. Brandon was born October 17, 1975, in Abilene. He attended school in Abilene, Anson and Lubbock. He lived in Houston from June 2000 until April 2005, when he returned to Abilene. While living in Houston, he attended the National Institute of Technology, in preparation to become a certified medical assistant. Survivors include his sons, Anakin Reese Singer and Braxton James Singer, both of Houston; his parents, Olen and Karen Reese, of Abilene; his sister, Adrian Dynes and her fiancé, Jason Smith; his brothers, Travis Wayne Reese, and his wife Amber; John Dale Reese, and his wife Shawna; his grandmother, Pattie M. Reese, of Anson; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Monday at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Michael; his maternal grandparents, Bruce and Hazel Van Dusen; and his paternal grandfather, O.T. Reese. Pallbearers will be Travis Reese, John Reese, Jason Smith, Roy Alfala, Tico Kelly and Rob Lloyd. Memorials may be made to Abilene Open Door, Inc., 3157 Russell, Abilene, Texas 79605.
