Brandi Jenee Rhodes, of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, in Abilene.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Bethel Assembly of God, 101 Commercial Ave, Anson, Texas with Pastor Cody Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Hawley Cemetery.

Brandi was born to Gary Lynn Sanderson and Barbara Jo (McElhaney) Sanderson on July 27, 1977, in Brownwood. She graduated from Anson High School and received her bachelor’s degree from Mid-Western University. Brandi had retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice as a parole officer. She was a member of the Sweetwater Emmaus Community and was a member of Bethel Assembly of God in Anson.

Brandi was preceded in death by her father, Gary Lynn Sanderson.

Brandi is survived by her mother, Barbara Sanderson of Anson; her husband, John Rhodes; children and stepchildren, Ashtyn McGee, Brylee Jo McGee, John Rhodes III and Emilee Rhodes, all of Abilene, Bryce McGee of San Angelo, Kyler McGee of San Antonio, and Bryanna Landers of San Angelo; siblings, Kathy Gay of Brownwood, Brian Sanderson of Alvarado and  one granddaughter, Laylynn Landers.

Pallbearers will be Michael Buchanan, Tom Oliver, Robert Gonzales, Jeramy Thompson, Steve Stacy, and Layton Landers.
