Billy Lovelady

Billy Wayne Lovelady, 87 of Abilene passed away on Monday, March 18, 2025 in Sweetwater, TX. after a long illness.

Private Services were held at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. Arrangements are with The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Billy was born in Jacksonville, Texas to Calvert and Imola (Pierce) Lovelady on February 8, 1938.

He graduated from Jacksonville High School and Stephen F. Austin College.

He married Nina Ulloa on March 8, 1981.

Billy was a certified financial examiner and worked for the State of Texas and Utah.

Billy served his country in the Army and was a FP4 stenographer.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Nina Lovelady; a stepson, Richard Lewis; a sister, Gloria Mims and two nephews, Scott and Mike, all of Jacksonville, TX.
