Beryl Lee Webber, age 87, of Bethany, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in Abilene, Texas. Visitation will be from 9 am until 10 am on Tuesday, August 18, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene, Texas with a graveside service to follow at 11 am at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 7457 West Lake Road, Abilene, Texas. Beryl was born in Bethany, Missouri to Paul and Lily Webber on March 22, 1933. He was a veteran during the Korean War and served in the United States Navy from 1952 until 1954. He married Mildred Natalie Hines on January 28, 1956 in Independence, Missouri. He was a machinist at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas for 31 1/2 years. He was a member of the Wichita Baptist Tabernacle until the family moved to San Angelo, Texas. He then served as a deacon at Lifepoint Baptist Church in San Angelo. Beryl enjoyed time with his family, gardening, wrestling, fishing, baseball with his son, and making people smile. He was known for his infectious laugh. He never met a stranger and craved time spent with friends and neighbors. Only heaven knows how many people he invited to church. Beryl is survived by his wife, Natalie Webber, son, Phillip Webber and wife Wendi, three grandchildren, Bailey Parker and husband Weslee, Wesley Webber and wife Rachel, and Kyle Webber, three great grandchildren, Lennox, Maddox, and Dax Parker, one sister, Crystal Rucker and husband, Edwin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
