Annie Huitt

Annie Lee Huitt, 89, of Rotan, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, in Brownwood. She was born on September 27, 1934, in Marlin, TX to Thorton Huitt and Pearl Mae (Jones) Huitt.

Annie's family will have a memorial service to celebrate her life at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Rotan Foursquare Church, 701 N McKinley Ave, Rotan, TX 79546.

Annie was born the sixth of ten children. Her siblings are: James Huitt, John Henry Huitt, Carl Albert Huitt, Rella Lee Daniel, Charlie Huitt, Ora May Ray, Thornton Huitt, Mildred Roddy, and Mary Louise Williams.

Annie had 7 children: Belle Huitt of Keller, Johnny Donell Turner of Rotan, Cecil Ray Turner and wife Nelda of Rotan, Elijah Turner and wife Kim or Rotan, Samuel M. Turner and wife Linda of Rotan, Pearl Ann Huitt of Abilene, and Angela Huitt of Abilene. Annie is also survived by her spiritual daughter, Jeri Ann Hix of Corpus Christi. She has 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
