Alyssa Resendez

Alyssa Marie Resendez, 22, passed away on October 2, 2023 in Abilene Texas.

The visitation will be held at The Hamil Family Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. The rosary will be from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 837 Jeanette Street, Abilene, TX 79602. Burial will follow at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Alyssa was born in Abilene Texas to Felicia Cisneros and Marcus Resendez on September 6, 2001. She will be remembered for being outspoken, carefree, and the love she had for her family.

She is survived by her daughter Alizah Reynelly Resendez, sisters Raynah Soto (Gabriel) and Brianah Ramirez (Richard), parents Felicia Cisneros and Marcus Resendez, grandparents Dora Resendez and Adam and Juanita Cisneros, nieces and nephew, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.

Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandfather Reynaldo Resendez Sr.

Pallbearers are Robert Cisneros, Gilbert Cisneros, Jonathan Gritz, Ron Resendez, Big A and Joshua Santibanez.

Honorary Pallbearers are Marcus Resendez and Joseph Flores.

The family of Alyssa wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hendrick Hospice Care as well as all doctors, nurses, and aides who assisted in caring for her.
