Teresa was born June 13, 1960 in Abilene, Texas to parents Doris and Jimlee Baucum. She graduated from Anson High School in 1978.
Teresa worked for American Eagle Airlines as a ticket agent at the Abilene Airport. She then moved to Granbury, Texas where she worked for the Hood County Sheriff's Dept. as a dispatcher. After leaving the Sheriff's Dept. she moved back to Abilene in 1999 where she began her career as a funeral pre-arrangement counselor. Teresa attends Beltway Baptist Church.
